The Respectful Relationships Program (RR) is a two-part standardized program required for all medium and high risk male clients under supervision for an offence related to relationship violence, to learn how to improve their relationship skills and end violence. Part one is delivered by trained Corrections Branch staff. Part two, which adds to the clients’ understanding of their relationship behaviour, is delivered by qualified counsellors sub-contracted by Stroh Health Care throughout the Province. The vision of the Respectful Relationships Program is to eliminate all forms of physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, and financial abuse perpetrated by male offenders against their intimate female partners.
Components of RR
Part 1 of the Respectful Relationships Program is delivered by Probation Officers.
